Tax return deadline in the Canton of Zurich extended due to online access

Due to problems with the online tax return in the Canton of Zurich, the filing deadline has been extended to 30 April 2025. This affects existing clients of Simpletax not, as these are automatically extended at the beginning of each year to the end of November. However, for new customers who have not yet extended the deadline, this eases the situation and also leaves enough time for an extension. You can do this yourself on egov-service.ch/public/web/zh/frist using the password from the January letter and the registration number.
